PhotoPaperNOW provide Iron On Transfer for use with black, dark cotton based material including t-shirts, sweatshirts, bags, etc.  Before starting the transfer process, read all the following instructions carefully. 

• Printing and preparing the motif  
• Print your motif the right way round (not as a mirror image) on the all white side of the IJ-Paper with the cut corner at the lower left. We recommend allowing the print to dry fully for around 30 minutes before continuing. Carefully cut out the motif, leaving a small margin of 5mm around it.
• Transferring
• Pre-heat the iron on highest setting. Do not use the steam.
• Lay the fabric/t-shirt onto a hard, flat; heat resistant surface (e.g. a wooden board) making sure it is crease-free and ironed. DO NOT USE AN IRONING BOARD.
• Next carefully peel off the backing paper.  Take care not to scratch the surface of the film with your fingernails.
• Place the cutout motif onto the fabric with the image facing upwards and cover it with the enclosed reusable ironing protection paper. Then iron over the included “protective paper” for 60-90 seconds for ½ page or 90-120 seconds for a full A4 page. Apply even medium pressure in a circular movement over the whole area.
• If the motif is larger than the sole of the iron
• Make sure that the whole of the motif is pressed evenly and for the same length of time.
• First iron over the whole motif without pressure to fix it in position (approx. 30 seconds).
• Then lightly iron over it (approx. 2 minutes). Do not press the same area for more that 15 seconds at a time, taking care to keep the iron constantly moving.
• At the end of the transfer process, apply medium to high pressure. Press around 10 seconds on each part of the motif.
• While still warm (approx. 10-15 seconds) peel off the protective paper in a smooth, even movement.
• Washing Instructions
• Leave the finished item for at least 24 hours before washing. Fabrics bearing motifs transferred using the Transfer Dark Paper are machine washable (max. 40°C).
• Fabrics with transfers should not be tumble-dried or dry cleaned.
• Subsequent fixing
• After washing for the first time, cover the transferred motif with the enclosed silicon paper and press again for approx. 60 seconds. This will make it adhere better to the fabric.
• Useful tip

Ordinary greaseproof paper can also be used instead of silicon paper.
