How to print a fake tattoo.

By Sophie, October 29, 2009 2:31 pm

This is great inkjet fake tattoo paper available direct from Photo Paper Now – I print it out on my Canon MX310 and my older Canon pixma ip3000 – and thanks to this paper, and the recycled ink cartridges that I use, my nephews and nieces have been able to wear their temporary tattoos – without being scarred for life – and without their mums and dads worrying about them – as the tattoos are perfectly safe.

All you need to do is visit the photo paper now website and buy some of this paper, then find the image that you want to print out – Epson, Canon, HP or lexmark printers – in fact all inkjet printers – this paper is compatable with them all

Then you just need to follow the instructions here.

The fake tattoos can last up to a week – but are easy to wash off should you need to – happy Tattoo Making!   Have fun and come back soon for special offers – including Art Canvas, Inkjet Photo Paper, and our bargain prices Wholesale Photo Paper.

How to use inkjet transfer paper

By Andrew, October 27, 2009 9:49 pm

Inkjet transfer paper is easy to use; all our transfer paper comes with easy to follow instructions.

Creating your customised clothing items (t-shirts, hats, bags, etc) or materials like canvas shopping bags is very straight forward. You’ll need the following:-

  • Transfer paper – either light or dark (depends what colour material you will be fixing your transfer to)
  • Colour Inkjet printer & PC capable of printing out your design
  • Scissors to cut out your transfer
  • Household iron (don’t use steam setting)
  • Flat hard surface – ironing boards are not recommended

Use your printer’s highest resolution to ensure your photograph or logo is printed at the best quality for outstanding results. You can use your favourite graphics software to enhance or create great custom designs or simply use standard Office or graphics software to print out high quality photographs.

Photo Paper NOW’s transfer paper for light material must be printed in reversed or mirror mode as the paper is reversed before fixing. Our dark material transfer paper must be printed in normal mode (not reversed or mirror) as the paper is applied without reversing.

Our paper has an ink absorbing coating which will absorb the ink from the printer and will remain on the coating. Once the transfer paper has dried after 3 or 4 minutes it is ready to apply to the garment using a standard household iron (steam setting OFF) or a heat press.

Do not use an ironing board as this does not provide the full support needed, we would recommend a solid table or worktop with a couple of pillow cases under the t-shirt.

Full instructions are supplied with all our products. Adult supervision is recommended.

Tips on How to Print Invitations

By Andrew, October 9, 2009 7:26 pm

Making your own event, party or wedding invitations is easier than you might think. Most people use their inkjet printer for printing standard A4 letters or reports unaware of the vast array of alternative paper sizes and weights. Today’s inkjet printers are capable of printing high quality photographs and graphics; however the results are very dependant upon the paper used. All Photo Paper NOW inkjet media range is photo quality which means that no matter which paper you use you are sure to achieve great results. Select from matt, satin or gloss paper. For cards and invitations we recommend the heaviest papers for best results. Anything above 180 gsm will do very well. For greeting cards we have special paper that is pre-scored so it can be easily folded once the final printing is done. And any paper can be cut to size if required.

Making your own personalised invitation is very rewarding and will be much more appreciated by the recipients. Not only that, but you’ll save money too. Getting custom printed invitations is an expensive business. Printing your own can be done at a fraction of the cost.

All you need to print your invitations is a computer, inkjet printer, application like Microsoft Word and a selection of inkjet paper. Templates are readily downloadable from many web sites including Microsoft – simply Google “Microsoft Office Templates”.  No matter what type of invitation or card you require, you are sure to find an appropriate template which you can personalise to your own taste.

So what are you waiting for, why not give it a try today and see how easy it is and how much money you can save.

Create Personalised Calendars – gifts for your family and friends

By Andrew, October 7, 2009 6:27 pm

Creating your own personalised calendars on your home or office inkjet printer is easy, saves you money and makes the perfect gift for family and friends.

Christmas is near

Christmas is near

There is a vast array of web sites where you can download calender templates including Microsoft, Google, HP and many others. Many are in Microsoft Office format and simple to add your own pictures to, so there’s no need to buy any special software or graphics program.

Once you find the template you wish to use simply customise it with you favourite photographs and seasonal pictures taken throughout the year for a great looking calender ready to print.

When complete you can print using your printers highest quality and resolution onto inkjet photo paper for a profesional finish.

We stock many different types of photo quality paper suitable for making calendars – gloss finish is probably everyone’s favorite but satin also provides a great finish.

You can choose between single sided or double sided paper depending on your preference. We would recommend our inkjet photo gloss 270gsm as this paper offers outstaning photo quality finish at a very reasonable cost and will produce perfect calenders.

Have fun and we hope you enjoy this idea. Please feel free to leave us comments.
